RoomMate has been officially recognised by HMRC as equipment designed exclusively for use by a person with a disability. This means that purchasing a RoomMate not only massively improves accessibility in public Disabled access toilets, but they also cost 20% less than they did yesterday!
So, welcome to our latest issue. After the recent excitement of the Pitch@Palace and Venturfest day we're back down to earth continuing to share the word on RoomMate. In this issue we'll tell you all that's happened over the last month, including a few more firsts!

National Maritime Museum Cornwall has become the first Museum in the world to install a revolutionary new device helping visually impaired people navigate safely around disabled access toilets.
Children’s Hospice South West’s (CHSW) Little Harbour children’s hospice in St Austell has recently been donated a RoomMate by local company ADi Access, based in Truro. RoomMate is an audio description unit which will be placed in a disabled access toilet at Little Harbour allowing for easier usage by those who are visually impaired or blind.
The Eden Project having just taken delivery of their first two RoomMates and have agreed to trial them in two of their on-site toilet blocks – one toilet in the Visitor Centre and one toilet in the Link building between the two Biomes.
